The Royal Park Hotel is situated in the famous Bayswater district of London beside Hyde Park.
The area is full of historical interest, and it was from here that wells and springs supplied a large part of the city of London with fresh water for several hundred years, and, indeed, the lakes in Hyde Park still draw their water from here.

The hotel stands on the site of what used to be large public tea and pleasure gardens 150 years ago, although in 1852 they were closed down because they became a low haunt of debauchery, cigars and periwinkles

The Royal Park Hotel was built in 1854 as three private mansions and is a splendid example of the comfortable, early Victorian age. It has been modernised without destroying its original character and provides 60 bedrooms, with private bathrooms, colour T.V., radio and telephone.

The public rooms consists of a large reception lounge, a private lounge and an attractive bar where you can relax over a drink after a hectic day’s sightseeing. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities.
